Baltic Shop Creates | Lino-cut Printmaking
Join us for a chine-collé lino-cut printmaking workshop with artist Kath Bell, a print and book artist who as well as creating and selling her own work, teaches print and book binding techniques in art schools and community settings.

Chine-collé is a technique used in conjunction with printmaking processes as a way to add a layer of different coloured or textured paper to a print by bonding it to the main paper while running it through the press.
You will learn how to prepare your image, transfer onto lino and then cut your design ready for printing onto beautiful printmakers paper. The chine-collé technique will be used to add colour to your print.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with experience. All materials and equipment will be provided on the day.
Refreshments will be provided.
