Join us for a sewing workshop with textile designer, Amy Trainor.
Using a computerised sewing machine, you will have the opportunity to make your own two-tone geometric pinwheel cushion.

Make a stylish, colourful cushion measuring approximately 16 “x 16 “- perfect for accenting your sofa, bed or armchair. There will be choice of different coloured cotton canvas fabric to make your design, so you’ll be able to make it in a two-tone combo that’s perfect for your home.
You will learn how to:
- Thread a sewing machine/wind a bobbin
- Quilting techniques
- Insert a zip in the cushion cover
- Sew a cushion together
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who have prior sewing experience. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people as well as develop your sewing skills.
Amy is founder of Kaleidoscope Textiles, a sustainable bag, accessory and jewellery brand. She works with high-quality, bold, bright fabric and materials to create bags, accessories and jewellery with a distinctive design.
All materials and equipment will be provided on the day, including the cushion insert.
