In this workshop, you will explore and create your own edition of a drypoint print.
This unique printing process involves etching a design into an acrylic plate and transferring the image onto printmaking paper using a portable etching press.
At the end you will have your very own final piece to take home - a composition of unique nature-inspired motifs that symbolise a specific positive meaning to you.
What's included in the session?
You will be guided by artist and designer Shiori Naruse, Founder of Naruse Design studio. Her work utilises both modern and traditional techniques and is driven by a love of being outdoors in the landscapes of Japan and the historic countryside of Northumberland.
