The BxNU Master of Fine Art is a unique postgraduate course delivered by Northumbria University in partnership with BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art.
BALTIC 39 is home to 32 studios, of which Newcastle City Council provide 25 quality, affordable, non-residential workspaces. These studios help support practitioners within the contemporary art and creative industries to grow, develop and sustain their practices.

The artist bookshop has taken over the shop front of BALTIC 39, stocking a unique selection of artists' books, prints, zines, writings and design magazines from independent and self-publishers, as well as selection by North East artists.

The meeting room at BALTIC 39 is located on the ground floor of the building and has a capacity of 20. It is available to hire between 10.00-18.00 daily, including weekends.
