Front Room
Manchester-based artist Abigail Johnson invites you to five days of connection, creativity and community support in our welcoming Front Room.
Pop in for an hour, enjoy a free hot drink served in handmade mugs produced by Abigail Johnson, and be part of the conversation. Each day explores a different theme, bringing together visitors, communities with knowledgeable facilitators in an informal, friendly atmosphere.

If you’re an artist at the start of your journey, swing by to receive practical advice on funding opportunities, career advice and tips for building your artistic practice.
Thursday: Let's Talk
A welcoming space to meet new people and have meaning conversations about community connection and mental health.
Friday: Demystifying contemporary art
Love art? Curious about it? Come share your passion or discover what contemporary art is all about in an open-minded space.
Saturday: Young people's mental health
A supportive session focused on anxiety and wellbeing, with professional guidance and signposting to helpful services.
Sunday: Community pantry & clothes swap
Browse our pop-up pantry, swap clothes, and share nutritious food and resources with your community.
