From Monday 2 February 2026, Six restaurant have ceased operations at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead.
Six was operated independently from Baltic by Fresh Element Ltd, who worked closely with Baltic many years to deliver a much-loved dining experience in this exceptional location.
In 2023, the restaurant was acquired by Middlesbrough-based Pneuma Group Ltd as part of its wider investment strategy in hospitality and regional ventures. Pneuma Group have made the commercial decision to close SIX.
