Play & Learn can be found in our Level 2 Learning Lounge every Wednesday where your under 5's can explore the world around them through imaginative, creative, self-led play.
Drop in to our ever-changing activities inspired by our exhibitions, nature, colour, sound and touch - all thoughtfully designed to support your toddler to play, make, think and discover.
From 10:30 soak up some art and join a member Baltic Crew for a Play & Learn tour where you and your little one can discover our current exhibitions through sensory exploration using materials, movement and sound.
To keep Learning Lounge looking tip top, and to make sure it can be used by as many people as possible safely, please be aware no food & drink is allowed in this space.
Need a moment to recharge? Enjoy refreshments after a morning of exploring in our Front Room. Eat your own packed lunch or enjoy a free hot drink or squash on us.
Explore more in our popular Sensory Room - a quiet space to play and explore with sensory toys, projections and lights. Take a pause as your little one enjoys fibre optics, a bubble tube, a light table with coloured shapes and a projector. We also have engaging light-up orbs and cubes, large soft shapes, wipe-able matting and a sofa to rest and relax on.
