Happy Mart (Artist Pop-Up Shop)

Located on Ground Floor opposite Baltic Shop, Happy Mart brings together a playful mix of gifts and handmade decorative pieces to buy and make your home a little happier. Their work, all of it available to purchase, is inspired by finding humour in the everyday, being out in nature, hugging the dog and eating a Greggs together. 

New work will be added by both artists throughout the duration of the show, Perry is creating hand stitched banners inspired by the important things in life and things we love most, including 'Climbing Mountains', 'The North Sea' and 'A Dog’s Kiss'. Alex Sickling will create a limited edition run of ceramic witches for Halloween and a range of handmade Christmas tree decorations and mini coals for anyone misbehaving for Christmas. Alongside the seasonal editions there will be permanent pieces from Sickling including ceramic worms, silly cat sculptures, and mugs declaring how much you love your best friend. 

Exclusive branded Happy Mart merch will include a tote bag and stickers, with more to come later in the run.
