Our popular Sensory Room is a quiet space to play and explore with sensory toys, projections and lights. Take a pause as your little one enjoys fibre optics, a bubble tube, a light table with coloured shapes and a projector. We also have engaging light-up orbs and cubes, large soft shapes, wipe-able matting and a sofa to rest and relax on.

Join our Toddler Time every Wednesday, where your under 5's can explore the world around them through imaginative play. 

Families are always welcome in Learning Lounge on Level 2. It’s a perfect spot to learn and play. Families can enjoy games, toys and books and uncover hidden creativity in self-led artistic activities. Come together with friends and family with soft seating, tables and chairs as well as comfortable matting. We even have a bank of computers that you can use. 

In our Front Room (Ground Floor) we have highchairs, free squash/water and heating facilities for milk/babyfood. With no pressure to leave, this is an informal relaxed space looking out onto the quayside where you and your family can sit and pause during your visit to Baltic. There’s also free tea/coffee for the parents/carers/guardians.
