Find out more about Baltic's resident honeybees and the crucial role bees play in our ecosystems in this free tour with Baltic Crew. These tours will be our final bee tours before our honeybee's relocate for the winter.

Discover facts about our resident rooftop colony and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world. There’ll even be the chance to taste some honey from the rooftop hives.

The tours are informal and Baltic Crew share great insight into our rooftop lodgers.

Bee Tours are part of Birds, Bees, Bikes & Trees, a three-year partnership between Baltic, North East Young Dads & Lads (NEYDL) and Newcastle University , funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

This tour is suitable for all ages and we’ll adapt content depending on our visitors. We’ll do our best to keep to time, but want to accommodate everyone.
