October Half Term Family Days 2023
We’re inviting families rooted in the North East to join us for two days of green and leafy activities inspired by our Level 4 exhibition Michael Rakowitz: The Waiting Gardens of the North.

School's out for half term! Join us for Family Days
Plant, play and potter this half term with drop-in workshops including tea-making and spice-grinding, wildflower performances and storytelling from Curious Arts. Enjoy creative activities and movement classes inspired by nature with Scotswood Garden and explore our plant-filled exhibitions. Plus, show off your green fingers by adding to our growing garden on Level 1.
We would love for you to come along, let your creativity bloom, and nurture not only the plants but also yourself and the people around you.
Drop-in Wednesday 1 & Thursday 2 November 2023, 10am-6pm.
For children of all ages and abilities.
Please note: Buggies/prams are welcome and can be left in buggy parks, but it could mean longer wait times for lifts getting around the building at busy periods. If you're able to leave the buggy at home then please do so.
