Join Baltic Crew and our friends from Natural History Society of Northumbria for a special tour we’re calling Down on your doorstep, part of our wider Spring Welcome season of events.

Group of 14 people stood looking at grass and a shrub on the side of a path.

Down On Your Doorstep

  • Thu 20 March | 10:00-12:00
  • Wed 26 March | 10:00-12:00
  • Wed 2 April | 13:00 – 15:00
  • Thu 10 April | 13:00 – 15:00

We’ll be exploring Gateshead Quayside from Baltic car park to the High Level Bridge, spotting plants, flowers and all that our local space has to offer for nature.

Hear about the history of the plants around us, point out what you want to know more about and our expert friends will give you some insight into what you find along the way.

In between spotting berries, weeds and bees Baltic Crew will be on hand to answer any questions about the buildings & history of where we are by the river.
Open for all ages, families welcome.

There is no charge to attend this event, and we encourage donation tickets. If you're unable to attend the event, we are unable to refund your donation.
