Meet & Make: We Are Family
Sunday 25 July 14.00-16.00
FREE Drop-in

You’re invited to create a family portrait to celebrate the family in all its fabulous forms, with queer artist Richard Bliss in Curious Families Weekend: Meet & Make.

Taking place in BALTIC’s Level 1 space, your creation doesn’t have to be a traditional picture - it could be a collage of palm and paw prints, or a poem that celebrates your chosen family.

Whatever you create will be added to a wall at BALTIC, as a celebration of family. If you’d prefer, you can make your family portrait in advance, then bring it along on Sunday 25 July to add to the wall at BALTIC.

B.Zine Queer Topographies
A zine workshop with artist Melody Sproates
24 & 25 July
FREE, Booking essential

Join artist Melody Sproates for an exciting session of zine making activities inspired by Ad Minoliti’s exhibition, for LGBTQIA+/gender non-conforming young people aged 16-24.

During the session you will produce your own individual zine and also contribute a page to a new collaborative zine titled B.Zine #1: Queer Topographies. Each participant will receive a copy of the zine and the original will be added to the zine collection in BALTIC Archive. Find out more and book your place here.
