Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, Baltic is a major international centre for contemporary art.
We are recruiting for a friendly and dedicated Café Assistant to work within this iconic North East building, that is confident with customer interactions, maintaining our high service standard, working within in a busy café environment handling high volumes, and some food handling.
Full training and support will be provided. Come and be a part of our ambitious and growing team in one of the best locations in the North East.
We are recruiting for the following working patterns:
1x Part time Saturday and Sunday 8 hours over 2 shifts. Overtime Available
Key information
Reports to: Café Manager
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Working hours: Working 8-hour days on a rota basis across our opening days Wednesday – Sunday, 09.45am – 6.15pm, you must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Place of Work: Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, South Shore Road, Gateshead NE8 3BA
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays pro-rata
