Venus' Looking Glass at the Experimental Studio at BALTIC 39 showcases a collective of work based on three artists' coming of age as women in the 21st century. A critical and reflective approach to their surrounding cultural environments is relayed through a series of paintings, sculptures, prints and mixed media artworks.

Public Talk: Fri 20 Mar 16.00 – 17.00 FREE, Booking Essential

A public talk chaired by Dr Laura Guy will take place in the gallery space in which the Art Historians Dr Fiona Anderson and Dr Victoria Horne will discuss the featured work alongside the artists within the context of Gender and Contemporary Art. A reception with complimentary drinks will take place afterwards.
