Discover a hidden Newcastle treasure by visiting BALTIC 39 for a late night opening of the distinctive Grade II listed building.
Explore the BxNU MFA Graduate Exhibition, open in the Project Space. BALTIC 39’s Studioholders will open their doors, inviting visitors to find out about their practice. BALTIC’s pop-up shop full of art and design gifts will be open on the ground floor, along with a donations bar.
Also at BALTIC 39, Jonathan Bradley from the Darkroom Kitchen in Ovingham will be demonstrating the art of traditional darkroom printing. Watch the darkroom process and take part in live printing.
Join a Walking Tour at 7pm and 8pm, where you’ll journey along NewcastleGateshead’s Quayside and learn about the local history. The tour will end at BALTIC, Gateshead. These tours are free but booking is required. Book your space here
