Zinzi Minott: Black on Black

Fri 10 Jun 18.30

Fri 10 Jun 18.30-19.30

This is Zinzi Minott.

I am really excited to show you Black on Black.

The work has always been a looking at Blackness and Queerness, it is about change, exhaustion, repetition and duration, remembering and shifting.

I wanted to put this in your mind as you prepare to enter the space and take in this iteration of the work.

With that in mind I hope those who were booked for the Thursday show- which now will not happen -can make it to the Friday. We’ll start at 6.30 and finish around 8pm, with a chance to hear my thoughts on the work and ask questions.

Until soon,

We want as many to as possible to attend this event.

If you are low income or unable to buy your own tickets there is a £3 concession ticket available and zero-cost tickets available for individuals. Please enter the promo code FREETICKET before selecting your ticket on any day to access a zero cost ticket.

If you book a zero-cost ticket, please honour this booking with your attendance, or release your ticket back to BALTIC so that others may experience accessible live art.

If you can't make the performance, don't worry - you can visit the video installation on 11, 12 and 15-19 June.
