Fortnightly Sessions, 16.30-18.00
FREE, Booking required
Do you enjoy learning new skills and meeting people who share your interests? Would you like to work with a team to produce a large-scale event at BALTIC for young people aged 13-19? Join us for fortnightly sessions, including artist-led workshops and exhibition tours and talks which will help you plan a LateMix takeover event in March 2020, especially for young people.
Through these sessions, and with support from BALTIC staff, you will develop your leadership skills, getting involved in all aspects of the event planning from commissioning professional artists and showcasing your own creative work as part of the event, as well as budget management, health and safety considerations and marketing. BALTIC’s Learning Team will also be on hand to support people to achieve their Gold Arts Award through this process.
You are welcome to come to any or all of these sessions and get involved in any way you feel comfortable – from turning up to hang out and enjoy the snacks, to taking part in a creative workshop, or getting more heavily involved in the event planning – all welcome.
To book your FREE place at any of these sessions please email email@example.com or call 0191 440 4919
