Part of Contemporary Art/Contemporary Issues CPD Series
This online workshop will explore examples of how natural and recycled materials can be used to their full potential, and linked to exciting, relevant contemporary art conversation.
BALTIC Freelance Artist Jade Blood will explore how we can empower students to be curious about the potential of their surroundings- no matter how sparse.
Feel free to bring an irksome material that you might throw away but think might have potential, and together we will put our heads together to think of an interesting use.
This event will take place on Zoom. Attendees will receive a link to this session 48 hours before the event takes place.
BALTIC's online artist led sessions are aimed at teachers across all Key Stages. Contemporary Art is about Contemporary life and is a great way to begin discussions with young people about the important issues facing our daily lives.
