Library Sessions

Suitable for KS3 & 4

Exam Support Session

In this 1 hour session, work with experienced library and archive staff to help inspire ideas, source relevant artists, learn research skills and delve deeper into your students’ chosen artistic interests.

This session is perfect for GCSE and A Level students preparing for their exams. Maximum group size is 20.

Library Intro Session

Join our library and archive team on a diverse journey into contemporary art and explore the variety of different artist information, images, exhibition catalogues and articles available to inform your students’ art practice.

This 1 hour session is designed to encourage your students to use BALTIC library and online archive to their advantage and includes games, discussion and lively debate.

Library Creative Session

In these 2 hour sessions students use the library collection as a source of inspiration for creating their own artworks. Curate a Space sessions use spaces around the library to create mini-exhibitions while our Zine Workshops see students creating their own artists' books using simple folding, cutting and collage techniques.
