Contemporary art is a way to view the world through many different lenses. It has the power to connect and engage people in a personal way. Working as a community of enquiry to explore BALTIC exhibitions through fun and informal games, participants will use the possibilities of contemporary art to ask big, conceptually rich questions.
Through active communication and thoughtful consideration, participants will be able to question, challenge assumptions, seek alternative ideas and gain a better understanding of contemporary art and artists by working together.
Sessions are delivered by BALTIC's Learning Team and last for 1 hour, with a maximum group size of 30.
For Gateshead and Newcastle postcodes, this session can be delivered by a member of BALTIC's Learning Team, in person at your school. If you’re outside of these areas, we can offer this session digitally if your classroom is set up to take part in online lessons with a webcam.
