You are invited to discover an alternative landscape where the structures of urban development become the stuff of play. Explore a maze, build a tower, climb a sculpture and reclaim the city as a space for fun.
This monthly session is for families with children on the autistic spectrum to get creative alongside artists.
PlayShapes is an interactive experience that allows children to create their own sculptures, installations or playscapes, imagined by artist Pippa Hale. PlayShapes abandons the rigid formats and primary colours of children’s play areas, and allows children space to get creative and do their own thing. Commissioned as part of the MAPS Festival programme.
