The ERiS Project has been developed to launch the new experimental studio at BALTIC 39. There are three initial sessions on 2 May, 6 June and 4 July. The first is themed around architectural experimentation, the second around the experimental art of refuge and exile and the third around dance and body-experiment. Each session has a range of talks and performances and is open to and inclusive of all.
(I get) So Emotional is programmed with curator and researcher Seán Elder and looks to the politics of emotions when situated between people, institutions and cultures. Emotion and affect have been considered through a multitude of perspectives historically with recent articulations emerging from a context of austerity and global socio-political crises.
Hell Cats is an artist book created with the aim of visually representing strong, confident women who ride motorcycles. Join us within the Ways of Learning exhibition at BALTIC 39 to celebrate the launch of Hell Cats, publication created by Jade Sweeting.
