Through fun and experimental drawing games, your pupils will explore what they can see from BALTIC’s Level 5 viewing box before designing their own imagined bridges to span the Tyne.
Artist Studio Sessions give your pupils the opportunity to get initial inspiration for projects, develop new artistic practices, work closely with a practicing artist and explore their own thinking, sketch booking, documentation and artistic reasoning.
Led by BALTIC staff, this 30 minute introductory tour to one of the gallery’s exhibitions will look at key works, themes and ideas.

Arts Award is a national portfolio-based qualification for children and young people up to age 25 delivered across a variety of levels.
Working as a community of enquiry to explore BALTIC’s galleries through fun and informal games participants will use the possibilities of contemporary art to ask big, conceptually rich questions.
